Re: battle between honored chapter Blood Angels and Heretic Chaos Forces.
Thought: Drink deep of victory and remember the fallen.
Honored Warlord, as per your request the following transcript depicts the
recent battle between a detachment of our most honored chapter of the legiones
astartes The Blood Angels and the heretic traitor marines of the Worldeaters
legion on the planet of Symnatec IV.
The early reports of the presence of ork raiders proved false, luckily so as
the Blood Angels divine work was much simplified as they were able to focus
their valiant efforts against the traitors without the nussaince the ork would
have offered. Although i am sure the ork pressence wouldn´t have diverted the
valiant space marines.
The battle took place in the midafternoon sun in the ruins of the town
Byanther. The ancient relic in the shape of a pyramid was still there but it
gave no sign it noticed the battle taking place there.
On the left flank the hated enemy deployed 20 of the depraved worshippers of
Khorne. These once proud marines were reduced to howling maniacs chanting and
demanding blood for their sick and despicable chaos god. In the center of the
battlefield an ancient Land Rider loomed its just purpose warped by the
influence of a demon possesing it. In front of the vehicle the arch enemy a
champion of that foul god Khorne a murderer of thousands, Khârn the betrayer,
stood his very soul given to his dark master baying his cry for blood and skulls.
To his right stood 5 bikes carrying foul chaos marines. The chaos right center
was held by 5 chaos terminators their very presence marking the chaos lords
need to defeat the rightous. The right flank was held by 10 Khorne beserkers.
The Blood Angels deployed in a broad formation intent on containing the chaos
attack. On the left flank the Sanguinary high priest deployed with his 10 man
Honour guard. On the extreme left flank a 9 man veteran assault squad stood
poised ready to pounce on the enemy. the center was held by Chaplain Arndt and
8 men suffering from the dreaded black rage. On the right center stood a 9 man
assault squad, and on the far right the honored ancestor and most revered of
the dreadnoughts Moriar the Chosen stood barely contained in his rage to
destroy the Heretic traitors.
The battle began with the enemy advancing in all fronts charging forward in the
hopes of detroying the steadfast marines. The land raider succeded in killing 1
of the brothers.
The saguinary High Priest then led his honour Guard in an close assault against
the 20 Khorne beserkers getting support from the simultainious charge from the
veteran squad. While battle raged there the lost tried in vain to destroy the
perverted engine of the land raider. The assault squad attacked the bikers, and
Blessed brother Moriar charged at the line of beserkers in front of him.
As the melee ensued on the left flank ensued several brothers lost their lives
but their valiant effort finally detroyed the 20 beserkers. In the center The Arch
betrayer charged the Lost children of Sanguinius and killed several of the in
bloody hand to hand combat. The assault squad wiped out the bikes but not
without suffering heavy casualties from the firing coming from the dreaded
Terminators´ dual bolters. Still Moriar stormed forward eager to engage the
enemy.
AFter defeating the beserkers on the left flank the veteran assault squad lept
toward the hated Land raider and blew it up using their trusted melta guns.
GLORY!. In the center carnage ensued as Khârn continued to hack away at the
Death company squad causing more casualties, however the mass of marines and
the trusty power weapon carried by Chaplain Arndt severely wounded him. The
assault squad was reduced to the sergeant by fire from the terminators and he
wisely chose to pull back and let the fresh troops from the honour guard deal
with the oathbreakers.
Moriar finally reached the enemy line first using his heavy flamer on the mass
of oncoming traithen seeing it fail to kill anyone immidiatly burned a heretic
with his melta gun. He the charged the enemy sending 5 of them screaming to the
warp home to their dark master to tell of Moriars rightous fury.
Glory Khârn the betrayer was finally hit and fell lifeless to the ground in a
pool of his own much sought blood.
Moriar continued to wreck the hated foe as he copletely wiped out the remaining
4 traitor marines of Khorne on the right flank.
The only enemy remainíng was now the 3 terminators, who promtly teleported away
before holy judgement could be passed on to them. A pity for they cost the
brothers of Blood Angels dearly.Vengeance and judgement will be passed one day.
After a hard fought battle the victorious Blood Angels celebrated their defeat
of the traitors and oathbreakers from the eye of terror. The only job left was
to have the Apothecary harvest the Progenoid glands of the fallen brothers.
Fortunantly none were lost and shall be used to create more recruit for the
chapter.
A GLORIOUS VICTORY. BLESS THE EMPEROR.
Remember: The enemies of the emperor fear many things. They fear dicovery,
defeat, despair and death. Yet there is one thing they fear above all others.
The fear the wrath of the space marines!!!
